Summer 2008 When you’re young you associate the alphabet with images anything from A to Z. I strive to show the world through my camera. I bring you big and small. Finding interesting objects most would just pass up. I tend to find. I love to show the old and also bring you the new. Photography has been a part of me from when I was very young. I have always had a camera and I would snap tons of pictures. As I have grown my cameras have grown too. I think that a photograph may touch each person differently and that’s why I strive to find the most interesting images. Because I want you to take one of my photographs and tell your own story. I have gotten a lot of my inspiration from my two wonderful mothers. Because with out diversity the world would be boring. We need a diversity of photographs too because not every one will like every thing that’s why I take photographs and tend be versatile and can produce lots of different types of photographs form people to play grounds. Spring 2007 From playgrounds to people. And every thing from A to Z. what ever I see through my camera is the way I bring you in to my world. I believe that everyone is here to praise god. And I am thankful for every thing that he has blessed with, a family who has supported me through everything. I produce mostly computer graphics art, but have also produced photography, sculptures, jewelry, and paintings. Most of my work has a spiritual tone or religious meaning. This is because I have lots of faith and I believe that every thing we do is because of him. Most of my art also has a playful tone and is inspired by the images I see every day. I have been producing artwork for about six years it started when a teacher in high school convinced me to take my first art class. And I was hooked. I had discovered my artistic talent and ever since I have been producing quality artwork. Matthew John Smith |
